In the many fights between the Evil and Heroic Warriors of Eternia, blood is often drawn on both sides. In one such confrontation, He-Man received a nasty cut from Skeletor's Terror Claws.

Later, Skeletor observed the blood on his nails.  It occurred to him that he could use his magic to try to clone He-Man just as he cloned Teela from the Sorceress decades before. It was a difficult spell, and a single blood sample wasn't much to work with, but he was determined to try.  He saturated the DNA with all the dark magic he could muster, thus Faker was born.

Initially, Faker seemed like a perfect duplicate, but his first mission as an infiltrator failed. In Faker's blood pumped the same dark Infinitian energy that afflicted Skeletor. His skin turned a pale blue, revealing his true nature.

Useless as a spy, Faker was still a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. His strength matched He-man's, and his similar appearance was still enough to confuse enemies and make them hesitant to attack him.

Faker was eventually defeated in mortal combat with He-Man, but that wasn't the end of his story. His body was salvaged and brought to Kronis who repaired it with a robotic endoskeleton, making him the perfect cyborg terminator.

Faker now serves as the Evil Robot Of Skeletor!
