Warrior Goddesses are the descendants of angelic beings who came to Eternia in mortal bodies to protect the world from demonic evil. Their powers vary from one generation to the next, but typically include shape shifting, spell casting, and telepathy, as well as superhuman strength and long life spans that can last hundreds of years. Many channel their powers through magical staffs, which are also used as melee weapons.
Over thousands of years, there has always been a Warrior Goddesses on Eternia who was instrumental in the fight between good and evil.
As the magically cloned daughter of the Sorceress, Teela has the strength and potential abilities of a Warrior Goddess. She considers herself a soldier and doesn't practice sorcery, but she does have the skill to wield the Cobra Staff of Ka, passed down from her mother. She can telekinetically summon the staff to her hand, allowing her to be instantly armed in any situation. With it, she can attack and defend with precognitive precision, and on rare occasions can utilize its magic abilities to create a force field or a bolt of energy.
Teela is Captain of King Randor's Royal Guard. She is trained in a wide variety of weapons and martial art techniques. She is a natural leader and among the most prominent of Skeletor's adversaries.
